In 2020, the NASA simulation project, which aims to bring together university students around the world for project ideas and developments, in which Facens has been actively participating in recent years, completed 10 years. The event that would initially be held on the Facens campus, had an online version due to the pandemic, with illustrious presence of the American space agency, such as Edwin Crues, Mike Conroy, Simon Taylor, among others. The NASA Simulation Exploration Experience (SEE) project brings together students, industries, associations and teachers to break down barriers to employability, building confidence and career capacity as teams develop, test and execute a simulated lunar mission. The proposed mission for 2020 was to return to the lunar environment, with an emphasis on simulations that represent lunar explorations by space agencies. With that, the Facens team developed new exploration federates, which are: lunar probe (space probe), launching pad (launching pad) and a rocket (space rocket). These models designed by the team interacted with models developed in previous lunar missions and, this year, interaction with the Munich team was also carried out, granting many positive points for both teams. And it is already scheduled: in 2021, the project will end at Facens! Wait for it!
