ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

UniFacens Language Institute was founded in 2019. Currently, are offered courses in 23 languages, including: english, spanish, german, italian, japanese, mandarin and portuguese for foreigners.

Our Portuguese Course for Foreigners is open to all foreigners in Sorocaba and the region, and for partner institutions and affiliated international networks interested in learning the Portuguese with promotional value.

LANGUAGE INSTITUTE PARTNERS

ALTISSIA 

Created in 2005, it is an online platform from the Altissia International group, headquartered in Belgium, on the university campus of Louvain-la-Neuve, with a commercial presence in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Through this partnership, the following opportunities are made available:

  • Courses in 23 languages: German, Bulgarian, Croatian, Danish, Spanish, Slovak, Slovenian, Estonian, Finnish, French, Greek, Hungarian, English, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Swedish, Czech, and Turkish;
    Discounts on German, Spanish, French, English, and Italian courses.
  • Cultural activities on campus: exhibitions, workshops, lectures, shows, and other activities throughout the year.

Cultural Center Brazil United States (CCBEU) 

It is part of the coalition of the Binational Centers (BNCs) and maintains a direct relationship with the Fulbright Commission. It is also officially recognized and certified by the U.S. Embassy as an American Space—an American cultural center on Brazilian soil—aimed at teaching the English language and promoting U.S. culture.

Through this partnership, the following opportunities are made available:

  • English and Portuguese as a second language courses;
  • Free online mini-courses (Massive Online Open Courses – MOOCs) on various topics such as English for Careers, STEM, Business, Social Media, among others, with certificates issued under the endorsement of the United States Embassy.

Fala Education 

Founded in 2018, it was created to offer a different, innovative, and effective approach to teaching, connecting experienced tutors and students around the world, thus opening the door to the opportunities that learning a new language provides.

Through this partnership, the following opportunities are made available:

  • Courses in German, Spanish, French, English, Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), Mandarin, and Portuguese as a second language;
  • Cultural activities on campus: exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and other activities throughout the year.

    Instituto Cervantes

    A renowned institution created by the Government of Spain to promote and disseminate the Spanish language and its culture.

    Through this partnership, the following opportunity is made available:

    • Spanish language course.

        Confucius Institute of FAAP (IC FAAP)

        Its mission is to promote the Chinese language and culture, with an emphasis on business, also offering opportunities to hold seminars and workshops.

        This partnership provides the following opportunities:

        • Mandarin language courses;
        • Chinese for Business;
        • Cultural activities on campus: exhibitions, workshops, lectures, and other activities throughout the year.

        Japan Foundation 

        Institution linked to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and created in order to promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between Japan and other countries.

        This partnership provides the following opportunities:

        • Access to online courses and content to help you learn Japanese;
        • Offer of cultural activities on campus: exhibitions, workshops, lectures, among other activities throughout the year.
